Registered Professional Nurse- CSAT

Hours: 7:30am - 3:00pm- 10 month duty schedule

General Duties: Good knowledge of professional nursing principles, procedures and terminology; good knowledge of the principles and practices of public and child health; ability to get along well with children; ability to establish and maintain cooperative relations with teachers and the general public; sound professional judgment;initiative and resourcefulness; dependability, good physical condition.

Duties of Assignment: First aid, medication administration, management of chronic conditions, evaluation of immunization status, completion of state mandated reporting, and any other duties as assigned by Administration.

Special Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing, valid license and registration to practice as a registered professional nurse in the State of New York and current CPR/AED certification. Pediatric/adolescent nursing experience; tact; knowledgeable about childhood diseases; up to date ob first aid techniques, technologically proficient.
