Student Teacher/Classroom Observations 2026 - 2027

La Vernia ISD is currently accepting applications for student teachers/Classroom Observations.
Note: Avoid District/State test dates when making field placement arrangements.

Information for University Students
The La Vernia ISD Human Resources Department must approve all requests for college/university field placements. This includes all practicums and observations.

Please contact your university or college if you are interested in a placement at a campus in La Vernia ISD. Your university or college must contact the La Vernia Human Resources and request the placement. Student Teaching must complete the LVISD University Student Practicum Agreement for Human Resources Department approval.

Students should not contact the campus.
Students must complete: Criminal History Authorization request form
The student must have a satisfactory outcome of the criminal history check before placement before she/he can go to the assigned campus.

The Student can not be placed on campus where there is a conflict of interest (having children/siblings/relatives on the same campus).
Allow 5 to 10 working days for processing.
