Evening Safety Monitor (10-Month Position)

Lake Park High School is currently hiring for the position of 10-Month Evening Shift Safety Monitor (1:30 PM - 10:00 PM), as detailed below:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree (in a criminal justice-related field preferred)
• Law enforcement, first responder, or security experience required
• Proficient with PCs, tablets, and other mobile electronic devices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Apps, and cloud-based applications
• Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed
• Effective interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong orientation toward providing customer service
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work positively and productively with adults and high school-age students

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The work hours are from 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Safety Monitor

SALARY & BENEFITS: Hourly rate ranges from $23.41 to $26.49, based on experience and level of education per the Appendix B Salary Schedule (Safety and Security) of the District 108 Negotiated Agreement. This is a benefits-eligible position that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, as well as participation in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF).
