About This Position:

Willowbrook School is seeking a caring and dedicated School Instructional Assistant. This position works alongside general education and special education teachers in a collaborative setting, providing individualized and small-group support to our learners. The ideal candidate enjoys working with elementary-age children, is comfortable in a dynamic environment, and is committed to fostering independence, engagement, and growth for all students.

Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: 6.17 hours per day, 185 days per year
Contract Type: Full-time, 10-month non-exempt
Hourly Rate Range: $21.57 - $39.08
Relevant prior work experience is given for initial placement on the wage schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Illinois Paraprofessional License registered with Region 05 North Cook ISC
• Prior experience working with preschool-age children or students with disabilities preferred
