School Nurse

Program: Student Services

Description: The school nurse position will assist in developing and maintaining the school health program assuming authority for the care of students and staff members who have suffered an injury or illness. The school nurse will work directly with parents, teachers, administration, outside agencies and health care providers to meet the medical needs of students and to promote access to educational opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• PA Registered Nurse (RN) License
• PA School Nurse PK-12 certification, preferred. Those with a BSN and RN License interested in pursuing School Nurse Certification will also be considered.
• Two (2) years' experience in public health nursing or equivalent

Terms of Employment: Full Time - 190 Days (Follows the traditional School Year Schedule)
Salary: Bachelors degree starting minimum: $62,011.15
Master's degree starting minimum: $66,511.15 (up to 44 credits)
(higher placement available for master's degrees with 45+ credits), plus excellent benefits
