Substitute Custodian

Custodial Substitute Duties:

DAILY CUSTODIAL DUTIES

Bathrooms:

1. Wipe down sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, hand dryers

2. Sweep and mop floors and around toilets and sinks

3. Take out trash and replace trash bag

Classrooms:

1. Wipe down student desk

2. Sweep floors and spot mop as needed

3. Remove trash and replace trash bag

4. Disinfect door knobs and other areas as needed

Locker-rooms :

1. Wipe down sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors

2. Sweep and mop dressing rooms and bathrooms

3. Remove trash and replace trash bag

4. Disinfect areas as needed

Cafeteria :

1. Remove trash

2. Wipe down tables

3. Sweep floors as needed

4. Spot mop as needed

Hallways :

1: Remove or pick-up trash as needed

2. Sweep daily as needed

3. Spot-mop daily as needed

4. Wipe down water fountains daily

Building entrances:

1: Clean windows and doors inside and out daily

2. Spot-mop as needed Especially on rainy days

3. Keep entrance areas swept off and trash picked up daily

Gyms:

1. Sweep daily with dust mop

2. Keep trash picked up in and around bleachers

3. Spot mop as needed

Offices:

1. Remove trash and replace bag

2. Vacuum floors and or sweep as needed

3. Dust and or wipe down furniture as needed
