Instructional Paraprofessional

Position: Instructional Paraprofessional
Building: Elementary K-5

Job Goal: To assist the classroom teacher and student(s), acting as an extension of the classroom teacher, in the daily performance of organizational and instructional tasks, to assist in the supervision and safety support of classroom and student activities.

Qualifications for Position:

• High school diploma, college credit preferred but not required.
• Demonstrates concern for working with children having special needs.
• Demonstrates the ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates the ability to follow directives of the teacher and related personnel.
• Completes CPR/First Aid provided by the District.
• Completes required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

Start Date: September 1, 2026
Hourly Rate: $21.12
