Description:
The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District, an award-winning, Central Monmouth, K-8 school district with a tradition of excellence in education, is seeking per diem Substitute Bus Assistants with the following qualifications:

All applicants must be an Epi-pen Delegate; the required training will be provided by the district.

Qualifications:

• Lay out seat belts before arriving at child's bus stop
• Must prepare vehicle for any special need the student may have
• Must be in good physical condition
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Assist children getting in and out of bus; assist (lift) child getting into seat, and secure child with seatbelt
• Must be familiar with emergency evacuation procedures and assist the driver in the event of an emergency evacuation
• Must be able to assist the driver if it is necessary to back up the bus
• Must be patient and able to interact with special needs students
• Prior experience as a bus assistant preferred

Terms of Employment:

• Per Diem Position
• Non-Tenure Track
• Hourly Rate
• $15.92
