STARTING DATE: Immediately
WORK HOURS: Part-time
RANGE OF PAY: $16.69- $17.94 / Hour
BENEFITS: HESPA, IMRF
CLASSIFICATION: Aide (HESPA)

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures that the student is placed safely in appropriate child safety restraint system before transport to and from school. Rides with student to ensure their safety during transport; ability to support student with any special needs. May assist driver as needed.

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: HS diploma or GED, ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, prior experience working with special needs children, which might include behavioral and/or emotional needs, helpful. Must be able to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Must have the ability to interact well with students and staff.
