NOTICE OF ANTICIPATED VACANCY

• EFFECTIVE DATE: 2026-2027 School Year
• POSITION: Anticipated School Social Worker Universal Prekindergarten (UPK)
• STATUS: Probationary
• CERTIFICATION: Applicable NYS Certification required
• LOCATION: District Wide
• DUTIES
• Provide comprehensive school social work services with the use of social emotional learning resources
• Proactively engage and collaborate with scholars, educators, parents, and guardians
• Conduct home visits and support scholars and families in accessing appropriate community resources
• Travel will be required within the district and community-based organizations
• Review scholar records and attend and CSE/CPSE meetings when necessary
• Customary duties associated with the position

SALARY: Pursuant to the Middletown Teachers Association (MTA) Contract
FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE: Candidates must submit to fingerprint clearance.
