Teacher of Kindergarten (Temporary)

Description:

Temporary leave replacement position 9/1/26-1/1/27. Mt. Pleasant School is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and student-centered educator to serve as a kindergarten teacher. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of educators dedicated to fostering the academic, social, emotional, and developmental growth of our youngest learners. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment while planning and delivering developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards. The teacher will support students in building foundational literacy, mathematics, social-emotional, and problem-solving skills through hands-on learning experiences, play-based instruction, and meaningful family partnerships.

Qualifications/Requirements: *NJ certification - Teacher of Elementary K-6, or, Teacher of PK through Grade 3 *BA/BS from and accredited college or university *Ability to work collaboratively with other educational professionals

Salary Range: $64,234.-$88,724.
