Ongoing Substitute Teachers Needed

To apply, Substitute teacher applicants need to come to the Moline-Coal Valley Education Center, 1900 52nd Avenue, Moline.
Substitute teacher applicants need to bring the following items: an Illinois Educator license (You can apply for a Sub-Teacher License on the Illinois State Board of Education website, http://isbe.net). It needs to be registered with Rock Island County, too. Also bring a copy of your original college transcripts, a general physical (not more then 90 days old), fingerprint results completed within the last 90 days (These need to be completed at the Regional Office of Education.), and required identification (example: a drivers license and social security card, or a passport). Your social security card will be needed for your payroll file.
Office Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Summer hours or when students are not in session: Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Fingerprints are completed at the Regional Office of Education , 3561 60th Street, Suite 310, Moline, IL 61265, 309-736-1111 ( Please call before arriving.) There is a fee for this; $64 cash or $67 by credit card (Visa or Master Card).
Once all the paperwork is completed, the applicant's name is placed on the School Board agenda for approval at the next Board of Education meeting.

Salary: $120 per day for standard positions
$140 per day for premium positions (same classroom for 10 consecutive days)
$150 per day for retired teachers (from any district with documentation)
