Special Education Teacher - Per Diem Substitute

LOCATION OF POSITION: Fairport NY 14450; District Wide
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Per Diem Substitute for the 2026-2027 School Year
STARTING DATE: As Needs Present
SALARY RATE: $24.67 per hour

• DUTIES:
• Lead Special Education Program in the absence of the classroom teacher.
• Support and manage the classroom in the absence of the teacher.

• QUALIFICATIONS:
• Valid NYS Certification: Initial/Professional Students with Disabilities 1-6 OR Students with Disabilities 7-12 Generalist OR Permanent Special Education K-12 preferred.
• Experience with students in Special Education programs preferred.
• Knowledge and Experience implementing New York State Curriculum and Standards preferred.
• Experience with Therapeutic Crisis Intervention model preferred.
• Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
