8th Gr. Head Football Coach

Description:

Must have knowledge of the game of football: coaching the fundamentals of the game and able to prepare practice plans and supervise athletes before and after ALL practices and games.

Responsibilities:

• Inventory ALL equipment/uniforms, practice gear etc. Store all equipment appropriately and neatly in assigned storage areas.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding important logistical information including but not limited to practice times, pick up spots, weekly agendas, pregame meal delivery and much more.
• Report and fill out required paperwork when an injury occurs and communicate with parents when an injury occurs.
• Communicate needs/desires/problems to the athletic director.
• Supervise players before, during, and after practice/games and on buses to and from games/events. Make sure all players have left before leaving.
• Coach and players represent PHMS with high moral character.
• Communicate with the athletic director and report to him when necessary.
• Other duties and assignments deemed necessary by athletic administration.
