Mora Elementary School Paraprofessional

Mora Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Paraprofessional. This full-time position involves supporting teachers and students in a dynamic educational environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere and will work collaboratively with educators to enhance student success.

• Responsibilities
• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with varying needs, including those with disabilities.
• Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers as necessary.
• Help create a safe and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Assist with classroom management and supervision during activities, including recess and lunch.
• Prepare instructional materials and resources as directed by the teacher.
• Support students in developing social and emotional skills.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a supportive learning community.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher or school administration.
