Tiny Dragons Daycare Instructional Assistant

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be highly qualified by either having 48 college credit hours, or 2 years of experience working with children in an instructional setting.

REPORTS TO:
Early Childhood Coordinator

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
To maintain appropriate child-centered activities and environment so that students may learn and grow effectively.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Guides children in working and playing harmoniously with other children.
• Prepares for daily activities.
• Implements curriculum plans as directed by the Early Childhood Coordinator.
• Assists children in developing self-regulation strategies
• Maintain accurate records for children.
• Ensures the general safety and well-being of assigned children
• Collaborates with the classroom instructional assistant on planning activities, lesson plans, and events.
• Complete annual employee training.
• Maintains a clean and organized learning and play environment.
• Supervises children during regular play periods and lunch supervision.
• Assists with the arrival and dismissal of students and confers with parents as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SALARY: $17.70/hour

HOURS / DAY:
Monday-Friday 1: 00 pm - 4:45 pm
