Position Title: Production Hub Driver
Department: Child Nutrition / Food Services
Reports To: Production Hub Manager or Transportation Supervisor

Position Summary

The Production Hub Driver is responsible for safely transporting food, supplies, and equipment from the district’s central production kitchen (hub) to school campuses and other district facilities. The position ensures timely deliveries, maintains food safety standards, and assists with loading, unloading, and inventory verification.

Essential Duties

• Transport meals, food products, and supplies to designated campuses according to delivery schedules.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain required food temperatures during transport and follow all food safety regulations.
• Inspect vehicles daily and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Verify delivery quantities and complete required delivery documentation.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing products in the production hub as needed.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary vehicle and work area.
• Follow district policies, traffic laws, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in delivery, warehouse, food service, or transportation preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of safe driving practices and food handling procedures.

Working Conditions

• Frequent lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
• Work in varying weather conditions.
• Early morning and/or flexible work schedules may be required.

Primary Goal: Ensure safe, accurate, and timely delivery of meals and supplies to support student nutrition services across the district.
