About this role
The Niskayuna Central School District is now accepting applications for Substitute Teaching Assistants for the 2026-2027 school year.
New York State Teaching Assisant Certification preferred. Exceptional candidates without certification will be considered for employment as a Substitute Teaching Assistant (for a maximum of 40 school days) until certification is desired. Minimum requirements include:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- New Your State Assessment of Teaching Assistant Skills (ATAS)
- Completion of workshops in: Child Abuse Identiifcation, School Violence, and Diginity for All Students (DASA).
