Media/Health Clerk - Education Center

North Branch Area Education Center is looking for a Media/Health Clerk. This position is full-time, 8 hours per day, 9 months during the school year, up to 195 days, with benefits. This building serves Early Childhood, Kindergarten and First Grade students.

Job Summary: Assist in maintaining the media center and facilitating the use of media materials, technology and equipment by students and staff. Provide appropriate health care services to students including first aid, emergency care and the dispensing of medications according to school district policy and under the direction of the school nurse. Keep health room records, communicate with principal/school nurse, schedule and assist with screenings and immunization clinics, and assure the smooth and efficient operation of the health services department.

Qualifications: High school diploma, or equivalent required; First Aid/CPR certification required; Training/experience in computers, media center procedures preferred; Experience in healthcare field preferred.

Salary: $19.47 to $25.42 per hour depending upon qualifications and experience
