Food Service Supervisor

1.0 FTE Food Service Supervisor

• This is a 10-month position
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• Rate of pay as per contract

Requirements: Good knowledge of food preparation, food costs and other food service activities; Good knowledge of the State Sanitary Code as it applies to food preparation; Good knowledge of modern cooking utensils, appliances and equipment; Ability to plan and supervise the work of others; Ability to keep records and prepare reports; Ability to get along well with children and adults; Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions; Tact and good judgment; Resourcefulness; Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency and either two years of experience in the preparation or service of food on a moderately large scale; or
• Completion of an approved course in food service management; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
