2026-2027 Temporary Physical Education Teacher at Northbrook Junior High (11/30/2026 - 3/31/2027)

Daily Rate: $310.85 per day
Duration of Assignment: 11/30/2026 through 3/31/2027
Schedule: 8:15am - 3:45pm

Qualifications & Licensure
Illinois Professional Educator License with Physical Education Endorsement Grades 6-8 preferred

Reports to:
Assistant Director of Student Services

Performance Responsibilities:

• Develop in each student an appreciation of physical education and health
• Provide instruction on fitness-related activities and age-appropriate skills aligned with various exercises and sports, differentiating across grade levels and students as needed
• Provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student
• Integrate technology into the learning program
• Collaborate with all NBJH personnel and parents; communicate with staff and parents on student progress
• Participate in curriculum planning
• Assist with the selection and recommendation of materials, equipment and other instructional resources for the learning program
• Take all necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities
• Maintain accurate and complete records as required by law, district policy, and building and district administration
• Perform other duties as assigned
