Paraprofessional

Northland Community Schools is seeking a dependable and student-focused Paraprofessional to join our team. Paraprofessionals work closely with teachers and other school staff to support students academically, socially, and behaviorally while helping create a safe, welcoming, and positive learning environment.

General Duties:

• Support students with academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs as directed by licensed staff
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism when working with students, families, and staff
• Follow student support plans, school policies, and directions from supervising teachers and administrators
• Help students develop independence, confidence, and positive school habits
• Position may include transporting students in a school vehicle to offsite programs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• AA degree, 60 college credits or passing score on Para Pro/Para Educator Assessment
• Successful completion of PCA/CFSS
• Valid Driver's license
• Clear Background Study

Salary Range: $16.90 to $19.24
