Substitute - Food Services

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible individual to join our Food Services team as a Substitute. This role is essential in ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly in the absence of regular staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to providing excellent service to our customers.

• Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation and serving of food in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area, including kitchen, dining, and storage spaces.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
• Support regular staff in daily operations, including inventory management and food ordering.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any concerns or inquiries.
• Adhere to all health regulations and policies related to food service.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on food service practices and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Food Services Manager or designated staff.

• Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or a related field is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings and afternoons.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items, as well as stand for extended periods.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
