Teacher - Grade 4

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team at Locust Grove Elementary as a Grade 4 Teacher. The ideal candidate will create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters student growth and development. • Responsibilities
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the diverse needs of students.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through formal and informal assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
• Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and respect.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance their learning experience.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to support school-wide initiatives and student programs.
• Manage classroom behavior and implement strategies to promote a safe and productive learning environment.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
• Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events as required.

• Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; a valid teaching certification is preferred.
• Previous teaching experience, particularly in elementary education, is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of grade-level curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance teaching and learning.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
