Student Intern Groundskeeping/Maintenance

School Year Qualifications:

• Must be currently enrolled in good standing academically and with attendance.
• Have a good previous work record.
• Ability to commit to a consistent daily 2-hour shift as assigned by supervisor.
• Be able to follow instructions, plan and organize work and work independently without supervision.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 lbs regularly (e.g., carrying field markers, folding tables, sports equipment, and trash cans).
• Ability to safely follow verbal and written directives from supervisors, Athletic Directors, and maintenance staff with minimal supervision once trained.
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools or basic facility equipment (e.g., brooms, field paint sprayers, mowers, or trash carts).
• Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to collaborate with school staff, coaches, and fellow student workers.
• Must meet state minimum age requirements.
