Classroom Paraprofessional (2 Positions)

Ottawa Hills Local Schools is looking for a full-time paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year. Paraprofessionals are assigned to provide assistance to students with exceptional needs and must assist in all areas of instruction under the direction of an Intervention Specialist. A job description is attached. A high school diploma, satisfactory background checks (FBI/BCI), and Educational Aide Permit are required prior to start. The hourly rate starts at $16.15/hour, or $17.95/hour with a two- or four-year degree, which may be adjusted based on prior experience and training.

Hours and locations vary depending on student needs, and may change throughout the school year. The current vacant position will provide student support at Ottawa Hills Elementary School between the hours of 7:45 AM and 3:00 PM daily following the Ottawa HIlls Local Schools Calendar.
