JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for performing highly diversified craft trade activities with a focus on

Plumbing under general supervision.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Previous experience and good working knowledge in all phases of the plumbing trade including Troubleshooting, Installation and Repairs of Water & Sewer lines of commercial buildings.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or Vocational Degree from an accredited institution
• Two years’ experience of a skilled trade or general building maintenance
• OR
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

• Valid and current Florida driver’s license
• Must maintain a driving record that meets the standards of the District Safe Driver II Plan. Driver’s license must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.

• Offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of post- offer employment test (POET) - job-specific physical
