TESOL Elementary Teacher Leave Replacement

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver standards-based lessons aligned with New York State learning standards.
• Differentiate instruction based on students’ language proficiency and individual learning needs.
• Support language acquisition and literacy development, including vocabulary, pronunciation, and academic writing.
• Assess and monitor student progress using formative and summative assessments, including preparation for NYS assessments.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, interventionists, and support staff to support multilingual learners.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and learning goals.
• Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.
