World Language Teacher (Spanish)

School Locations: School #26 (.5) / MLK (.5)

Qualifications:

• Hold a New Jersey Teacher of World Language Certificate (Spanish) or Elementary K–6 Certification
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of teaching a foreign language
• Knowledge of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, and classroom management.
• Knowledge of assessment and data analysis for instructional purposes
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and in another language, both orally and in writing, with students, staff, parents, administrators, and the community.
• Exhibit a personality that demonstrates enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.
• Demonstrate the ability to use electronic equipment for word processing, data management, digital technology to augment authentic learning, information retrieval, visual and audio presentations, and telecommunications.
• Must be computer literate
• Highly motivated result-driven educator
