JOB TITLE: Athletic Trainer (Provisional Appointment)
LOCATION: Department of Athletics
BASIS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full time, 10 month position
ANTICIPATED START: August 15, 2026
RATE OF PAY: CSEA Agreement, Grade 10D

QUALIFICATIONS: Competitive Civil Service Position. Provisional appointment pending future civil service exam; once established, candidate must be reachable from Certification of Eligibles produced by the Dutchess County Department of Human Resources, in accordance with NYS Civil Service Law.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Possession of valid New York certification as an Athletic Trainer in accordance with Article 162 of the New York State Education Law, at time of appointment and to maintain position.

2. Possession of valid Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification at time of appointment and to maintain position.

3. Possession of a valid Driver License to operate a motor vehicle in New York State at time of application, and to maintain the position.
