Girls Varsity Assistant Wrestling Coach (#1842)

The Girls Varsity Assistant Wrestling Coach will support the head coach in all aspects of the program, including practices, competitions, athlete development, team supervision, and program growth.

Required Qualifications:

• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
• Valid New York State coaching certification or National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) coaching certification
• Previous wrestling or coaching experience preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Commitment to providing a safe, positive, and supportive environment for all student-athletes

To begin coaching, a basic requirement needed is some background in the sport and documentation of the following:

Certified Teachers will need the following:

CPR/AED with First Aid (NYSED approved) � CPR LINKSConcussion Protocol �NFHS

Non-teacher applicants will need the following:

Active Coaching license in hand

Or all pieces uploaded into TEACH account minus the Board Recommendation

ALL CANDIDATES MUST BE LICENSED/ALL CERTIFICATIONS COMPLETED
