Job Title: Substitute Food Service Worker
Hours of Work: 7:00am-1:45pm
Compensation: $12.05-12.64/hr.

Job Summary:
Perform functions required in Food Service on a substitue basis:

• Be able to prepare items on menus according to receipes & production forms
• Complete production forms at the end of the day
• Assist in serving during lunch lines- clean up food at the end of the day
• Wash pans and dishes as needed- Empty dishroom and station trash at the end of the day
• Be able to assist other positions in the kitchen as needed
• Follow all safety regulations
• Assist with special promotions for staff and students
• Understand USDA regulations for reimbursable meal requirements
• Complete all food service training
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Be able to stand for long periods of time
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Tolerate varying temperatures in coolers, freezers and dish room
• Tolerate fast-paced serving times
• Assist with special promotions for staff and students as well as assist with Special Functions including evening banquets
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must know current food safety regulations as well as current meal component requirements in order to accurately recognize reimbursable meals
