Teacher Aide Subs

As a Teacher Aide Sub you will provide for the well-being and supervision of child(ren) in the classroom throughout the day as directed by the classroom teacher. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide one-on-one support for students in a school environment.
• Assist teachers inside their classrooms K-12.
• Supervise child(ren) at all times and assist them in daily activities while promoting independence.
• Assist in maintaining order and cleanliness of classroom, equipment and supplies.
• Demonstrate a consistent, nurturing manner toward all children.
• Perform classroom duties as assigned by the teacher(s) or teaching assistant.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working with young children preferred.
• Demonstrate positive interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate adequate oral and written communication skills.
• Be accepting and sensitive when interacting with people with disabilities.
