Paraprofessional Positions

The Point Pleasant School District is looking for full-time instructional paraprofessionals and playground aides for the current school year!

Full-time instructional paraprofessionals work 5.75 hours per day. Assistance is needed in various special education programs, grades Pre-K to 12. The hourly rate is negotiable upon hire and is dependent on applicable experience. The hourly rate ranges from $17.43-$24.88 per hour. Pay will be commiserated with experience.

Playground aides and supervisory paraprofessionals work 2.5 hours per day (10:45 am -1:15 pm). Responsibilities include supervising children in grades K to 5 on the playground and during indoor recess. The hourly rate is negotiable upon hire and is dependent on applicable experience. The starting rate is $15.83 per hour. Pay will be commiserated with experience.

A high school diploma and criminal history check are required. Health benefits are not available for these positions.

Nellie Bennett School hours: 8:45 am - 3:20 pm
Preschool hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Ocean Road School hours: 8:10 am - 2:45 pm
Preschool hours: 8:30 am - 2:30 pm
