POSITION: Commodity Warehouse Driver (12 months)
SALARY: GRADE 56 - $2,868.67 monthly – Starting Salary
DEADLINE DATE FOR RECEIVING APPLICATIONS: November 16, 2026
WORK LOCATION: Child Nutrition Department

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Ability to transport food, equipment and supplies to and from schools.
  • Ability to maintain the warehouse in an orderly manner.
  • Ability to maintain freezers, refrigerators and warehouse cooling systems in proper working order.
  • Ability to maintain an accurate up-to-date record of deliveries and consignments to and from schools.
  • Ability to assist in maintaining warehouse inventory.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Ability to assist with other duties as assigned by the Child Nutrition Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma.
  • A North Carolina Commercial Driver’s License if required.
