Interim Supervisor of Transportation

Reports to: Business Administrator, Coordinator of Facilities and Operations or designee
Description: The district is seeking an interim Supervisor of Transportation

Responsibilities: To coordinate the transportation of students to and from school and co-curricular activities in the most safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner possible, while performing administrative and clerical tasks as required for the efficient operation of District Transportation.

Qualifications:

• Valid School Transportation Supervisor Certificate or ability to obtain the same.
• Valid Commercial Driver's license with the following endorsements: School Bus Driver
• Excellent driving record
• Knowledge of state laws and regulations governing school bus construction and maintenance, and pupil transportation
• Demonstrated experience in personnel management, route scheduling, fleet maintenance and cost containment
• Computer Literacy (Routing software, MS Office, Google Products)
• High school diploma
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with VersaTrans or similar transportation software preferred
• Prior experience in similar roles preferred

Compensation:

$250 to $375 per day, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
