HS Social Studies Teacher Leave Replacement

Red Bank Regional HS is searching for a HS Social Studies Teacher. This is a leave replacement teaching position starting January 4 - June 17, 2027

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons;.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respectful discussion of diverse perspectives;
• Assess student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessments;
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners;
• Incorporate technology, primary sources, debates, and project-based learning into the curriculum;
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects;
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid NJDOE teaching certification in Social Studies
• Strong content knowledge and passion for the social sciences
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• An additional ML or Special Education dual certification with Social Studies will be considered strongly but it is not a requirement
