Requirements:
Must be highly qualified, providing supporting documentation, having 1 of the 3 listed below:

• Completed two years of study (earning 60 or more credit hours) from an accredited institution of higher education (Transcript).
• have an Associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education (Transcript).
• Obtained a passing score on the MN approved assessment ParaPro or ParaEducator exam, both measuring math and reading skills (Certification).

Compensation: Substitutes are paid at step 1 of the classification they sub for.
