Diagnostician for the District

Position:: Diagnostician – District-Wide
Qualifications:
• Valid license from New Mexico Public Education Department or eligibility.

• Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Will provide diagnostic information and will work cooperatively with instructional personnel to provide the most appropriate programs for students with disabilities.
• Will implement the SPED assessment process.
• Will lead evaluation teams as applicable
• Will conduct REEDS's
• Will actively participate and lead EDT meetings as applicable
• Ability to work with changing priorities, regulations and deadlines.
• Ability to analyze situations accurately and to recommend necessary action.
• Effective staff and public relations skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements.

Contract Period:: 2026-2027 School Year
Start Date:: As soon as applicable
Salary:: Per Ruidoso Municipal School District Salary Schedule
