Position:: Head Track Coach at Ruidoso Middle School
Qualifications:: * High School Diploma or GED; licensed instructor preferred.

* Valid New Mexico Coaching licensure or eligibility.

* NMAA Coaching Certificate required or eligibility.

* Must demonstrate willingness to work in a cooperative working environment.

* Strong reading, written, verbal and interpersonal skills.

* Preference given to certified or classified staff.\

*CDL preferred or willingness to obtain CDL.
Responsibilities: * Ensures responsibility for all matters pertaining to the organization and administration of the coaching of the team under his/her direction.

* Enforces all rules of the state and national association as they pertain to track.

* Cooperates with the administration, athletic coordinator/director, fellow coaches and students to promote the best interests of the entire athletic program.

* Teaches advanced skills and strategies in track.

* Combines the abilities of individual students into a team effort with the focus on enthusiastic competition in the spirit of fair play, good sportsmanship and friendship.

* Works productively as part of a team.

* Other duties as assigned.
Contract Period:: 2026-2027 School Year
Start Date:: 26-27 Season
Salary:: Per Ruidoso Municipal School District Salary Schedule
