Substitute Teaching Assistant 2026-27

The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for substitute teaching assistants in various capacities for the 2026-27 school year. Applications will be reviewed and selected candidates will be contacted for a screening interview.

*Applicants must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment for the NYS Education Department before employment begins. The substitute is responsible for the fingerprinting fee; and will be reimbursed after having completed 10 days of employment.

Minimum Qualifications: New York State Teacher Assistant preferred; or one year paid or volunteer full time equivalent experience working with children.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and Technologically proficient

Rate of Pay: $16.00 per hour
