Hours Per Day: 8, afternoon starting times vary. Some positions may have weekend hours as assigned.
Type of Position: Continuing. Evening Custodian.

Salary: Per the Custodian Work Agreement: Cleaner, $18.51- $20.42 per hour; or Custodian (B21), $20.51- $22.42 per hour for applicants with the required boiler license. Starting pay within the applicable range may reflect credit for prior work experience.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Applicant will be required to get a Special Class 'C' Boiler's License during their 90 day probation period.
• Requires the ability to stand/walk for extended period of time; push/pull while lifting up to 50 pounds;
• Ability to communicate in a positive manner with the general public and building staff.

Summary of Duties:

• Knowledge and experience in modern cleaning procedures and practices including floor care, restroom cleanliness and other general areas
• Ability to do light repair and maintenance tasks (repair of desks, chairs, and other furniture, replacement of bulbs, etc)
• Some positions may require knowledge and experience in laundry care
