9th Grade Girls Basketball, Assistant Coach

The State College Area School District is accepting applications for the 9th Grade Girls Assistant Coach position.

The Coach is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to student-athletes, as well as providing an overall vision for the 9th Grade Program. We are seeking positive, passionate, enthusiastic individuals who will not only instruct student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training, but also guide and mentor them to be driven and responsible student-athletes and citizens.

The Assistant Coaches report to the High School and 9th Grade Head Coaches in support of program goals and initiatives.

Both the PA Dept. of Education and the PIAA require specific safety and coaching training to include CPR/AED and First Aid. See the Athletics website for details.
