Part Time Home and Career Teacher (.2)

Teaches students how to navigate common challenges that adults face in their careers, home, and family lives. It includes the skills needed in daily life, such as personal budgeting, childcare, and nutrition. Duties include offering students the opportunity to learn general skills that will be useful throughout their future job and home lives.

Topics covered: cooking and nutrition, sewing, family economics, relationships, health, and time management.
Requirements: NYS Certified Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher
