12 Month Landscape Technician 1.0 FTE

Department: Grounds
Reports to: Skilled Maintenance Supervisor
Term: 12 months
Full Time: 40 hours per week

Position Summary:
Maintains the grounds of all district schools in a condition of safety, neatness and aesthetic attractiveness, so that students, employees and the community may be provided with an outdoor environment that is both pleasing to look at as well as being functional.

Training and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in herbicide use and procedures.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in landscaping procedures.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sprinkler repairs and installation.
• Experience in the installation, repairs and maintenance of water systems.
• Experience in cost estimating.
• Experience in planting and maintaining shrubs, trees and other greenery is required.
