OHIO LAW STATES THAT IF YOU'VE HAD A DUI IN THE LAST 10 YEARS YOU CAN NOT BE A SCHOOL BUS DRIVER

MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE AND HAVE HAD YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE FOR AT LEAST TWO YEARS

Bus Driver

Driver in Training - $9.00/hr (usually 4-6 weeks)

Probationary Rate, after obtaining CDL with endorsements - $20.28 (90 working days)

Completion of probation - starts at $21.94

The district will train applicants to obtain a Class B CDL with School Bus Passenger endorsement AND applicants are paid during training

Qualifications:

Must possess valid driver license
Ability to interact effectively with children and adults in the performance of the job duties
Display good physical and mental health to meet job requirements
Must have knowledge of Board of Education Pupil Transportation Policies
Professional in appearance and demeanor
Be able to operate two-way radio
