Substitute Athletic Trainer

The Toms River Regional Board of Education has an anticipated opening for the following position:
Substitute Athletic Trainer
Valid NJ Board of Medical Examiners License and NJ Athletic Trainer Endorsement on Educational Services Certificate required. Candidate must possess First Aid and CPR certification as determined by the board as well as knowledge of all facets of injury management, human anatomy, physiology and biomechanics. Candidate must have the ability to provide injury prevention education, emergency care and reconditioning therapies for athletes. In addition, candidates are required to coordinate care with appropriate personnel including physicians, supervisors, district athletic trainers, school nurses, coaches and parents as necessary. Required criminal history check, fingerprinting and proof of U.S. citizenship or resident alien status as well as immunization documentation.
