Substitute Nurse

We are seeking a caring and qualified Substitute School Nurse to provide healthcare services to students in the absence of the regular school nurse. The Substitute School Nurse will play a crucial role in promoting student health and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for students as needed
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Conduct health screenings and assessments as needed
• Communicate with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student health concerns
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Adhere to all school health policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Valid nursing license (RN, LPN, or ISBE licensed nurse)
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Schedule: This is a part-time, on-call position with flexible hours
