Educational Assistant Title I - Long Term Substitute

Waconia Public Schools is looking for candidates dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to explore their passions and create their success! Our school district is located near the banks of Lake Waconia and approximately 25 miles west of Minneapolis, Waconia Public Schools serves approximately 4,000 students and their families from the communities of Waconia, Victoria, Minnetrista, Saint Bonifacius, and New Germany. School District facilities include an educational services and enrichment center, area learning center, three elementary schools (K-5), one middle school (6-8), and one high school (9-12).

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:15 am - 2:15 pm

Qualifications: Associate's Degree, at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (a minimum of 60 semester credits). Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated recognition, interest, and respect for the needs of young children are required. Previous experience with young children in a supportive, nurturing environment is required.

Compensation: Salary is Pursuant to Educational Support Professionals Collective Bargaining Agreement, hourly rate is $18.77

Position Start/End Date: January 19,2027 to approximately March 4, 2027
