Relief Teacher Assistant (AST-0626) 5.75 Hrs. (Anticipated)

• REQUIRED CRITERIA:
• High School Graduate
• Experience working with children
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in mathematics, and ability to communicate fluently in English, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to demonstrate basic tech skills on computers, tablets, and laptops.
• Ability to work well with other assigned staff to establish a positive learning environment for students.
• Ability to work successfully with students with various disabilities.
• Ability to physically perform job duties including standing, walking, running, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• Ability to lift or move 40 pounds.
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of student's information.
• Willingness to fulfill the specific performance responsibilities of the position as they relate to individual student's needs.
• Evidence of good moral character as determined by reference checks, fingerprinting review and observation.
• Ability to work successfully with children with disabilities.
• Willing to be trained in CPR and Crisis Prevention

• PREFERRED CRITERIA:
• Ability to provide academic and physical support to students with disabilities as directed by the classroom teacher.
• Computer proficiency
• Experience with school-age students.

SALARY: $19.83 / Hr.
